At approximately 1730, Engine 849 was alerted to respond to the 12400 block of Eastgate Lane for the report of smoke coming from a house.
At 2337 on 15 February 2018, E849 was alerted as the southbound engine for the auto fire on the B-W Parkway.
Friday afternoon’s volunteers kept busy with a suppression crew and two BLS ambulance crews who ran non-stop from 1700 and counting.
RE849 was dispatched as second due to a townhouse fire at 7600 block of Erica Lane.
Engine 49 was second arriving on scene for the townhouse fire on Carissa Lane around 4am. Smoke detectors alerted the family so all 6 members of the family were able to evacuate safely.
