The Laurel Volunteer Rescue Squad station 49 is located at 14910 Bowie Road, Laurel, MD 20707.  The station which was originally constructed in 1959, has continuously housed the operations of the organization for over 50 years.  Since its construction in 1959, the station has seen several improvements over the years to accommodate larger apparatus and an ever growing volunteer organization.  Currently, the station houses a heavy-duty rescue squad, a rescue engine, an engine, three ambulances, water rescue units and several support vehicles. It also houses 60+ hard-working, dedicated volunteers including 10 bunkroom live-in members.
