At 0242 on Saturday morning, Rescue Engine 849 and C849A responded to the B-W Parkway southbound for the PIA with one reported trapped and one reported ejected near Powder Mill Road.

E835 and A835 arrived first, updated the location as the B-W Parkway southbound but south of the I-95/I-495 interchange, and confirmed the sole occupant was trapped in the backseat of a two-door coupe.

RE849 stabilized the car and used the chain saw to cut down several small trees impinging access to the passenger side door then removed the passenger door and B-post to access the patient.

Patient was extricated in approximately 14 minutes.
