At 2239hrs, Rescue Squad 849 was alerted to respond to the area of the Baltimore Washington Parkway and Powder Mill Road for the report of an MVC. While en route, PSC advised the unit that they received multiple callers of a vehicle in the woods, on its side, with a person still in the car. Rescue Squad 849 arrived to find a 2-vehicle MVC with one vehicle on its side in the woods and the driver trapped. The crew from Rescue Squad 849 worked to stabilize and extricate the single occupant, who was treated and transported to a local trauma center with minor injuries. The other vehicle’s driver was also transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
