This past Saturday, members from LVRS, along with the Savage Volunteer Fire Company from Howard County and Anne Arundel County’s Station 27 in Maryland City, gathered as neighboring departments to visit the PGFD Training and Learning Academy. The purpose of the trip was to utilize their flashover simulator and participate in live burn training.

During the session, we simulated several box alarms and focused both our interior and exterior firefighting skills with our current rookies enrolled in Firefighter 1. This collaborative training experience not only strengthened our abilities but also build our relationships between our departments, better preparing us for future challenges on the fireground
