E849 was dispatched mutual aid to Howard county for an townhouse fire. On arrival, E61 advised smoke showing from the top floor.

Command assigned E849 to backup E61 on the fire floor, which was quickly extinguished. Chief 49A responded and was assigned exposure group supervisor.

Crews remained on scene for 1.5 hours prior to being placed in service.
