The team helps move the fireworks barges onto the lake and then moves the barges to the center of the lake.
On Sunday July 4th Rescue Squad 49 and Ambulance 49B were dispatched for the personal injury accident off Contee Road.
Between the Independence Day parade and fire works – Engine 49 was dispatched as the second engine on the refrigerator fire.

“A little work – before bed…” 06.22.21 – Engine 849 on the dumpster fire.
On the early morning hours of June 20, 2021. Rescue Squad 849 along with other units responded to the B&W Parkway for the personal injury accident without entrapment.
Engine 49 was alerted for the truck fire on the UPS lot in Laurel. Upon arrival the engine encountered a number of tractor trailers that were on fire.
On Saturday, 06.05.21 Engine 49 was alerted for the car fire at Route 1 and 175.
